I’m Pansy and I love photography, travel, and all the pretty flowers! (How fitting that I was named after a flower!) 🌸
I am inspired by:
the beauty of nature
colors that spark joy,
and details that delight!
If you appreciate those things too, then we have a lot in common already!! 😊 Because I’m obsessed with all of the above, and am driven to capture scenes and create images that feel timeless, romantic and happy. I hope to convey some of the joy and wonder that I feel when I discover amazing and beautiful places, whether near or far.
Like Duchess Kate, I believe that being in nature and being outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental well-being, which is why so many of my pictures are set in parks and gardens or have some natural element to them. (And yes, I just compared myself to Duchess Kate…)
With this blog, I hope to share my travels and travel tips with you, and also share some photography and editing tips to give you some insights into what goes on behind the scenes. I’ll also be sharing some of my other hobbies and interests, such as everything flower-related, and trying to live in a more eco-friendly way.
I hope that you will find some travel & photography inspiration and some useful information here!
My photos are typically taken with my wonderful husband Ken’s assistance while I do the location planning, composition, and editing. Read about our photography equipment here.
More about me: I was born and raised in San Francisco and am lucky to still live in the S.F. Bay Area. After graduating from UC Berkeley, I worked for a number of years in environmental and sustainability consulting, then in software product management. I also enjoy working with Ken in interior design for his home-building business. In my spare time, I’m usually seeking out some delicious food!
Thanks for following along! ❤️
